Plant your own edible plant in upcycled plastic bottles to add to the collective vertical farm display and learn how vertical farms and other urban farming techniques can help us be more efficient with our land use and why efficient land use is so important. Transportation Trivia: Get ready to put your thinking caps on for an unforgettable Trivia on food distribution to learn where your food comes from and how you can make local choices to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Food is Fuel: Join the South Florida School Garden Almanac Release demonstration to make your own tropical fruit snacks.
