Food future Hack-a-thon

a virtual invention marathon of student-designed food waste reduction solutions

WHAT IS THE FOOD FUTURE

HACK-A-THON?

Universities, college and high school students compete with their peers to solve the food waste challenge in a virtual invention marathon culminating with the presentation of a short 2-3 minute video of each team's solutions. This year's Food Future Hack-at-thon was March 4-6, 2022. 

 

Prizes are awarded by student age group for both of the following tracks: 

  • Ideas Track - students develop innovative concepts along with an implementation plan

  • Technology Track - students design a prototype of a mobile app or a website

HOW DO I ENTER?
  1. Register a team, volunteer as a judge or mentor, and learn more about this exciting event at FutureFoodHack.com.
